Who Is Tab Trade - Launched March 2026, Here Is the Deal

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform based in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

His background matters. It says the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a broker that is a few months old, the breadth is not narrow.

Platforms

You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders prefer it once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Costs

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX API, faster fills, custom pricing. Not something most retail traders. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

Infrastructure

This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, it does. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you swing trade, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

The Bonus

Tab Trade offers bonus funds of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
